SituationWhat is sentPurpose · retention
Visiting the websiteAccess logs (IP address, browser, requested page) in Cloudflare's security logsSecurity and incident response; short-term retention under Cloudflare's policy
Free plugin, only after you enable translation packsText domains and versions of installed plugins and themes, target locale, site hash, Interpres versionOffering matching packs and counting which translations are needed. Lookups are kept as counts per day, locale and target, with no list of sites. Download records (pack, site hash, time) are kept for 12 months
"Request pack" buttonTarget, version, locale, site hashDe-duplicating requests per site and counting demand
Editing a translation that came from a pack (packs enabled)Source string, your edit, pack id, site hashIf accepted in review, applied to every site using that pack. Can be turned off in Settings
Pro · license activationLicense key, site address, plugin versionValidating the license and counting sites. Kept while the license is valid. Payment details (card numbers etc.) are handled by the reseller and never reach us
Pro · translating with your own API keyThe strings go directly to the AI provider you chose (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google), not through our serversThat provider's policy applies. Your key is stored only in your site's database
Pro · translating with Interpres CloudStrings to translate, target locale, glossary, site hashOur server forwards them to an AI provider and returns the result. Source→translation pairs are cached (without site information) so other sites with the same strings reuse them. Credit usage is recorded on the license
Pro · translation sharing (on by default, can be turned off in Settings)The translation file you applied (source and translation pairs), how it was made (provider, model, tokens, cost, versions, glossary used), site hashAfter review it may be published as a pack for other users. Only the translated strings are published; the contributing site is never disclosed

4. Your rights

License holders can ask to see or delete their activation and credit records. A shared translation can be taken down on request even after publication (copies already downloaded by other sites stay there). Write to hello@interpres.ing; we answer within 10 days.

5. Cookies

The public website sets no cookies. Only the operator's review console (api.interpres.ing/admin) uses a login cookie.

6. Children

The service is not directed at children under 14.

7. Changes

Changes are posted here with the revision date. Important changes are also announced in the plugin or by email.
